About me
My journey into fitness didn’t start from a perfect place, it started with growth, resilience, and a complete shift in mindset.
I’m currently a third-year Exercise Science student at the University of Cincinnati graduating this summer, where I’ve built a strong foundation in how the body moves, adapts, and performs. Through coursework and lab-based research, I’ve gained hands-on experience applying evidence-based training principles that I bring directly into my coaching. I became a certified personal trainer in March 2025 and plan to sit for my CSCS exam this September as I continue to grow in the field.
However my love for fitness didn’t start there. In 2021, after tearing my labrum playing volleyball, I was forced to find a new way to move, and that’s when I discovered cycling. It was the first time I truly enjoyed exercise, and it completely changed my relationship with fitness.
Before that, I struggled with my weight and confidence. At 16, I was around 200 pounds struggling with mental health. By 18, I had grown not just physically but mentally. Fitness gave me structure, discipline, and confidence, and quickly became something that shaped who I am.
At 18, I stepped outside my comfort zone and started teaching. I used to hate public speaking, but through leading classes and coaching others, I built confidence I never thought I’d have. Over the past three years as a coach and instructor, I’ve also had the opportunity to speak to different groups of 70+ attendees about fitness, performance, and its long-term impact on both physical and mental health.
Outside of coaching, I spend most of my time with my toy poodle, Lola, staying active outdoors, cooking or baking, and preparing to add a Doberman to the mix soon. I value routine and balance, whether that’s a Sunday morning at church or staying consistent with daily Bible study. I love music festivals and am a huge EDM fan, which is where I find a lot of my energy and inspiration. I am also passionate about cooking and enjoy making homemade meals whenever I can. When it comes to baking, I will always find time to make a good dessert.
Fitness changed my life and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others build strength, confidence, and a lifestyle that actually lasts.
